Wellcome Trust
The Wellcome Trust are an independent charity funding research to improve human and animal health. Established in 1936 and with an endowment of around £13 billion, it is the UK's largest non-governmental source of funds for biomedical research. This year sees the launch of The Wellcome Collection, which will house three exhibitions, the Wellcome Library, a café, bookshop, conference centre and members club, making it a major new public venue for London.
