Wellcome Trust : Biometrics Installation
The Wellcome Collection is a major new public venue for London. We were asked to design and produce interactive installations that would intrigue visitors and cause users to question preconceived ideas of biomedical data and what it means to be human.
Our Solution
The Biometrics exhibit takes biomedical data, fingerprint, iris scan, heart rate, height and age and transforms this raw data to create a unique personal ‘bio-identity’. This can then be emailed and used by the creator as their own personal logo that can then be printed onto t-shirts, turned into mobile phone wallpaper, or even turned into a personal avatar or mapped into a tattoo in Second-Life.
